Douglas Bader, whose callsign was Dogsbody, was a British ace during the second world war who showed incredible perseverance in the face of overwhelming adversity: after losing both legs in a crash and being told he would never walk again, let alone fly, he went on to become one of the RAF´s top scoring pilots. He even met his German counterpart Adolf Galland upon being shot down and imprisoned in a POW camp, from which he managed to escape. This graphic novel is about his story.
